Grand Cathay, one of the oldest and most powerful civilizations in the World of Legend, rivals the great realms of Elves and Dwarfs. This enduring empire stands as a steadfast defense against the world’s evils. This boxed set provides a strong foundation for an Armies of Grand Cathay force in Warhammer: The Old World. Elite Jade Lancers, heavily armored cavalry, lead the assault to break enemy lines, supported by steadfast Jade Warriors ready to defend or advance. Two artillery pieces deliver devastating firepower from a distance. The set includes 50 multipart plastic miniatures: 2 Cathayan Grand Cannons (convertible to Fire Rain Rocket Batteries), 10 Jade Lancers, and 30 Jade Warriors. Customization options allow assembling Jade Lancers as one large unit or two smaller units, each with optional champions, standard bearers, and musicians. Jade Warriors can be formed into one, two, or three units with similar options, armed with hand weapons and shields or halberds, with interchangeable heads and accessories. The artillery can be built as cannons or rocket batteries, each with crews and an optional ogre loader. This set is an excellent way to begin or expand an Armies of Grand Cathay collection while saving compared to individual kits.
This kit comprises 734 plastic components, 2x Citadel 25mm by 50mm Rectangular Bases, 2x Citadel 40mm Square Bases, 2x Citadel 60mm by 100mm Rectangular Bases, 10x Citadel 30mm by 60mm Rectangular Bases, and 36x Citadel 25mm Square Bases.
This set also includes 1x Jade Warriors/Lancers Transfer Sheet containing 404 high-quality waterslide transfers to decorate your miniatures.
These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
