UpScale Hobbies began its journey in 2017 as a small online store operating out of a basement in Sellersburg, Indiana, USA. Founded by Chris Baskett, a dedicated scale modeling and gaming enthusiast, the shop aimed to provide hobbyists with top-notch products and exceptional service.

Over time, UpScale Hobbies expanded beyond its humble beginnings. Here are some key points about its evolution:

  1. Passion for Hobbies: Chris' love for fine-scale model car kits fueled the business. He envisioned a place where fellow enthusiasts could find quality products and connect with like-minded individuals.

  5. Gundam Paradise & Imperium Miniatures: John’s vision extended beyond UpScale Hobbies. He established Gundam Paradise, dedicated to promoting Gunpla (Gundam plastic model kits), and Imperium Miniatures, which caters to tabletop gaming enthusiasts.
