1/12 Scale Tyrell P34 Six Wheeler Plastic Model Kit by Tamiya
Description
When the Tyrrell P34 was first unveiled to the public on September 22, 1975 as the first 6-wheeled machine in F1 history, it caused an enormous sensation. With four small diameter front wheels and two normal-sized rear wheels, the design sought to reduce drag, increase braking performance, and improve handling. The car made its F1 debut at the hands of Patrick Depailler on May 2, 1976 at the Spain GP. Just a few races later, at the Sweden GP, Jody Scheckter and Patrick Depailler made history by driving their P34 machines to a one-two finish. The team also took 3rd place in the Constructor's Championship, ensuring a place in racing history for the revolutionary machine.
