And now the winner of Revell's 2022 Builder's Choice competition, the Trabant "Trabi" 601S! Now in its fourth year, Revell's Builder's Choice program lets the modeling community choose a new release for the Revell line-up. The Trabi was East Germany's answer to the VW Beetle. It was economical, affordable, and easy to maintain. Manufactured in Zwickau from 1964 to 1990, the Trabant 601S became an iconic part of Eastern and Northern European life.
