Description:
The Mazda 110 S Cosmo is a Japanese sports car, the prototype of which was presented to the public in 1964 at the Tokyo Motor Show. Its serial production was carried out in the years 1967-1972. It was concentrated in the city of Hiroshima, Japan. Only about 1,200 copies of this vehicle were produced in its course. The Mazda 110 S Cosmo was created with the aim of entering the sports car market, as well as promoting technological solutions related to Wankel engines. From the very beginning, the Cosmo model was treated as the flagship car in Mazda's offer, which was also indicated by the very careful styling of the body and passenger compartment. The car was powered by a single 1-liter engine with a capacity of 110 to 130 hp, and was also offered only as a 2-door coupe. Two series appeared in the course of production: the first, designated L10A, and the second - L10B. It is worth adding that despite the fact that Mazda introduced another model called Cosmo in 1975, the two cars had very little in common.
