While massed infantry can overwhelm the foe, it often falls to Heavy Weapon Squads to deliver the killing blow. These mobile gun crews are able to dismantle and redeploy their heavy weapons swiftly to follow up and support the front line.
These squads bolster battle lines and provide close fire support with adaptable load-outs – able to provide precise or suppressive firepower. These particular Heavy Weapon Squads are crewed by heavily muscled soldiers drawn from a race of warrior people that survive on the most infamous of death worlds – Catachan.
A powerful Heavy Support choice for Astra Militarum armies in games of Warhammer 40,000, this kit can be built as three separate two-man teams, each armed with either a lascannon, heavy bolter, missile launcher, autocannon, or mortar. Alternatively, all teams can be armed with the same weapons to create a dedicated support squad.
This kit builds 3 Catachan Heavy Weapons Squads complete with appropriate bases. All the miniatures are supplied unassembled and unpainted – we recommend Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
